The Apple of My Eye tattoo was done as a tribute to Justyn on his first birthday after his death. The tattoo depicts the Egyptian Eye of Horus- the God of Protection. It's on the back of my neck. I cant see it, but I can feel him, especially when I touch the tattoo. Love Everlasting is called my son set. when my son died that's what it felt like, my son had set. The tattoo is on the small of my back. and the following year I had the words "Love Everlasting" added. I had the tattoo done on the anniversary of his death- 17th September 2005. In 2009, on the fourth anniversary, I knew I wanted something in script, I wanted to say something. I was in Greece on holiday. The tattooist was a very gentle soul and he helped me translate the words. It means "we will be together again my beautiful ManCub". That was my pet name for Justyn from when he was tiny. The tattoo is on the heart chakra, running along my inner arm straight to my heart.
